Hi,
Sorry for this unexpected message. I've read a few of ur comments and would like to discuss them with u. I think u r very wrong saying that science and faith are incompatible. I'm a Christian and I love science. If I could just exclude the scientific THEORIES about how this world began... everything else in science only compliments the power of God and praises His creation. Nothing in science (and I mean the scientific laws and not THEORIES) contradicts the existence of God. The faith in our God is not entirely faith-based either. All throughout our history God has been showing His Might and HIS creation is MAGNIFICENT.
U say, "save ur pity for urselves" and I say... it is better to believe than not. Because if God and eternal life do not exist then all u did by believing was live a righteous life.
But if God DOES exist and u DIDN'T believe than u r condemned to hell and eternity-long agony.
U won't risk much by believing, yet u'll risk EVERYTHING by NOt believing.
I hope u finished reading this... and will actually think about what I said.P.S.: I'm only 17.... and yet I very well know that my life could end anytime. And I don't want to end up in hell if it does exist. Even if there is only a small chance that it might, I don't want to risk it.

You Write: "I am more concerned about lax admission standards for boys in order to maintain "gender parity" at universities. Another way to punish women"
I'm assuming your also against preferential admission for women in science and engineering programs.
